Athens Technology Center (ATC) reconfirms its leading position in the design and provision of integrated eLearning solutions, undertaking a new asynchronous eLearning project on behalf of the Cyprus Academy of Public Administration (CAPA). The project aims to the development of online courses, which will be integrated into CAPA’s learning management system (LMS), that ATC has implemented in the past. The contract’s value is €617,450 plus VAT.
Specifically, following a Public Tender, ATC was awarded with the design and development of an asynchronous eLearning training program under the general title “Organizational Development – The modern public organization”. This assignment was, once more, a sound recognition of ATC’s long-term experience in designing and developing integrated educational programs of blended learning.
The program will consist of 10 thematic areas, elaborated in 26 online courses (according to the SCORM standard), with a total training duration of 60 hours. The chosen thematic units are based on the criteria of the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) and on the reforms for the modernization of the public service promoted by the Department of Public Administration and Personnel of the CAPA. In fact, they affect all operational aspects of a modern organization, focusing on strengthening the skills of managers and middle managers of public bodies in Cyprus. Thus, these executives, completing the training program, will be able to apply and support the most modern management principles and methods in the organizations they lead.
For that matter, ATC will be responsible for bringing together and coordinating a group of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), who will undertake the development of distinct thematic units for the Program, from the collection of primary content, to the detailed educational design of each course. as well as the conversion of the relevant educational material in the form of interactive digital courses.
