We are very excited to announce that Truly Media, the collaborative platform that Athens Technology Center (ATC) and Deutsche Welle (DW, Germany’s international public service broadcaster) developed to support the collaborative verification of social media content, will be exploited in two new pilot projects. In specific:
- Members from the Indonesian and the Philippines fact-checking networks are already using Truly Media since December 2019 for the coverage of the Myanmar 2020 General Elections.
- The Media Development Foundation (MDF) in Georgia will use Truly Media in the project ‘Myth Detector Laboratory for Media Literacy’, in order to respond to disinformation challenges by media literacy programs and content production.
